About the Author

My name is Darayus Sethna. I am seventeen years old and am a senior at Nordonia High School. My experience in the sports media industry officially began in May of 2018, when I joined a small club at my high school that was centered on digital journalism and sports reporting. I then started a podcast known as “The Cleveland Sports Show.” In this podcast, I discuss major topics not only in Cleveland Sports, yet sports around the United States and the globe. In my previous two years of high school, I have been the play-by-play broadcaster for the Nordonia High School boy’s basketball team. In 2019, I was assigned as an analyst for the Cleveland Cavaliers on a local radio station in the Akron area (1590 WAKR with Ray Horner). In November of 2019, I had the phenomenal opportunity of “shadowing” the Cleveland Cavaliers during a home game and had a chance to meet with some of the most renowned broadcasters of the team, such as John Michael, Austin Carr, Jim Chones, and Rafael Hernandez-Brito.

You can access the “Cleveland Sports Show” podcast and all my other work from this link: darayus.news. Here, you will be able to see my Twitter account (@NordoniaSports) as well as my SoundCloud channel. On these websites, you can listen to episodes of my podcast, my radio interviews on Cavaliers basketball, as well as my play-by-play commentary with Nordonia Basketball.

You can also locate my Spotify Channel by typing in “The Cleveland Sports Show” or “Darayus Sethna” in the Spotify search bar.
